Record it. Circle it. Send it.
The Mac screen recorder you can draw on while you talk. It zooms in on what you click, cuts out the awkward pauses, and exports a video that explains itself.

“Looks good. Works great.”
Everything above happens live, while recording. The zoom is added for you.
See the whole app in 90 seconds.
Pick an area, draw while you record, finish, and the editor opens with the zooms already in.
One small app instead of three.
Most screen videos take a recorder, a separate annotation tool and an editor to trim the mess. ScreenDraw Cut is all three, and it starts in a second.
A screen recorder
Captures the screen, but you can't point at anything.
An annotation app
Another window, another shortcut, another subscription.
A video editor
To cut the pauses and zoom in by hand. Later. Maybe.
ScreenDraw Cut
Record, draw, auto-zoom, cut the silences, frame it on a background and export, in one place, for one price.
Talk with your hands.
Circle the button. Underline the number. Arrow to the setting nobody can find. Draw right on top of any app while you record, then keep working; drawings fade away on their own.
- Pen, highlighter, arrow, rectangle, ellipse, text
- Any colour, three sizes, fade or keep
- Right-click and you're back in your app
Steps that count themselves.
One click drops a numbered step that pops into place: 1, 2, 3, automatically. Check off what works, cross out what doesn't, and put a pulsing "look here" where eyes should go.
- Step numbers, check, cross, look here
- Pick from the tray above the control bar
The zoom does itself.
ScreenDraw Cut remembers every click and every drawing. In the editor, the video glides in on each one and back out, like you spent an afternoon keyframing. Move, resize or delete any zoom.
- Smooth, even zooms from the full-resolution recording
- What you see in the editor is what you export
Dead air, deleted.
"Um, where was that menu…" One click finds the long pauses and cuts them out, keeping a breath of space so nothing sounds clipped. Changed your mind? Undo.
- Adapts to quiet and loud microphones
- Plus noise removal and loudness levelling at export
Your face, not in the way.
A round camera bubble you can drag anywhere and resize in a click. It follows your recording from window to window and across displays.
- Circle or rounded, three sizes, mirrored
- Prefers your built-in camera, not virtual ones
Studio polish in one click.
Crop away the menu bar, the Dock or the window you didn't mean to show. Then put your recording on a soft gradient with rounded corners and a shadow, and pick the shape: widescreen for YouTube, vertical for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, or square for LinkedIn.
- Crop to just the part that matters, after recording
- Eight gradients, three paddings, soft or round corners
- 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, previewed live in the editor
Looks like your screen. Because it is.
Text stays sharp up to full Retina resolution, and colours match what you saw, not the washed-out version. Export an MP4 that plays everywhere, or ProRes 4444 for your editing app.
- MP4 (H.264) in High, Balanced or Small, up to 2K and Retina
- ProRes 4444 for Final Cut, Premiere and Resolve
- Keeps exporting in the background while you work
- Share straight to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn or X
Go on, draw on this.
This is how it feels in the app. Your drawings fade after a moment, so you can keep talking.
And the details you'd expect.
Screen, region or window
Window recordings follow the window when it moves. Full screen follows you across displays.
Mic and system audio
Your voice and your Mac's sound, mixed into one track.
Spotlight & magnifier
Dim everything except the cursor, or magnify what's under it.
Click ripples
Viewers see every click, without you saying "and now I click…".
Global hotkeys
⌥⇧R to record from anywhere, ⌥⇧D to draw.
Cut & join
Split, trim and reorder clips; join several recordings into one.
Private by design
No account, no cloud. Your recordings never leave your Mac.
Small and native
A light, fast Mac app, not a browser in disguise.
Real videos, made with it.
Walkthroughs, lessons and explainers, recorded and drawn on live, then cut in the editor.

Good questions.
Is it safe to install?
Yes. The app is signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS checks it before it opens. It only asks for the permissions it uses (Screen Recording, and the microphone or camera if you turn them on), each the first time it's needed.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once, and every future version is included at no extra cost: updates, upgrades and new features. No renewals, ever.
What's in the free trial?
Everything, for 14 days from first launch. After that, recording and exporting need a license key; your recordings stay where they are.
Which Macs does it run on?
macOS 12.3 (Monterey) or later, on Apple Silicon and Intel. Recording your Mac's own sound (system audio) needs macOS 13 (Ventura) or later.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No account, and no internet connection is needed to record, edit or activate your key. When you are online, the app checks in with our license server; see the privacy policy for exactly what that includes.
How many Macs can I use it on?
All the Macs you personally use. For a team, buy one license per person.
Where do my recordings go?
Into your Movies folder, on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
I lost my license key.
Open the license page and enter the order ID from your Paddle receipt (it starts with txn_). You'll get the same key again.
Who makes ScreenDraw Cut?
AdfuseHQ, the software brand of Emcode Limited, an independent studio. Questions, bugs or ideas: write to [email protected], or use Feedback inside the app. We answer every email.
Is there a Windows version?
Not yet. ScreenDraw Cut is Mac-only for now.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase. See the refund policy.
